How do I prepare my for car transport? The first thing you should do to thoroughly wash your vehicle. This helps you identify any damage (paint chips, scratches, dents, etc) when the vehicle arrives at your new location. If your vehicle is equipped with an antitheft system, ensure that it is disabled. Make sure that your fuel tank is only between 1/4 and 1/8 full - the more your vehicle weighs, the more it costs to ship it. If your side view mirrors can be folded, do so. You may also consider removing the antenna. Remove all personal belongings from your car and trunk. No personal items are allowed in a Train during car transport Exceptions are: winter tires and baby sit.

Do I have to be present when my car transport is picked up and delivered by the auto shipper? You sure do. You must be present at both the pickup and delivery of the vehicle, or you may designate another person to act as your agent in your absence to complete the vehicle shipping process.

Is the vehicle insured during car transportation? Yes. Your vehicle is insured under the trucker's cargo insurance subject to a $500 deductible. Optionally you can choose insurance with $0 deductible, in this case $35 will be added to your vehicle’s transportation charge. The auto shipping driver will thoroughly inspect your vehicle at pick up and delivery. When your car is delivered it is your responsibility to inspect it for any damage that may have occurred during transport. Please document any damage on the Bill of Lading and obtain the auto shipping driver's signature. The insurance company will not process car shipping claims if damages are not documented at the time of auto shipper delivery.

Can I load my car up with personal items for the car transport? If your car transports by Rail you can not leave any personal items in your automobile or trunk during transport except: winter tires (you must sign a waiver ) and a baby car seat.

In most cases we do not permit personal belongings in the car during car transportation, when we transport your car by Truck also. However sometimes we can make an exception. You may be allowed up to 100 lb of personal belongings in the car but transportation charge will be higher.

How soon my car is leaving once it was delivered to your yard for car transportation?

Do I have to prepay for car transportation or I can pay when I receive my car ? Usually it takes 2-4 day to upload your car to the carrier. For example: if you delivered your vehicle to us on Monday it will be leaving on Wednesday or Thursday. We require payment in full within 2-3 days once you dropped-off your vehicle at our yard. This is important so you could receive your vehicle at Destination Location without delays; your vehicle will not be released to you until we receive and process your payment.
